If you live in Germany, or if you've ever been there, you've probably heard about the brand 'Balea' that is sold in dm. Since 1995, Balea is known for their high quality beauty products while maintaining low prices. Thanks to carefully selected ingredients and continuous quality control, Balea products have received hundreds of positive reviews from their customers, magazines and websites. We really love this brand since it has almost EVERYTHING we need in our daily beauty routine and they often surprise us with limited edition products. In this article we will share some of our ultimate favourites.
Balea hand wash Ginger & Lemon
This is probably one of the best smells EVER! The combination of ginger and lemon leaves your hands feeling very clean while you enjoy the natural and fresh scent of this hand wash. The scent is not too much and it does not dry out the hands. Hopefully, Balea will follow up on this one with a shower gel or hand cream ;)
Balea hand wash Raspberry & Magnolia
Again, hand wash is very important these days, so while in Germany, we stocked up on a new scent with Raspberry and Magnolia. The scent is very luxurious while again not too overbearing or too drying on the hands. If you're looking for a little extra 'luxe' feeling, this one is the way to go!
Balea Was gel (Facewash)
We've been using this one for years and always seem to come back to it. It cleans the face, doesn't leave a sticky or oily layer after rinsing but still hydrates the face enough to leave you feeling soft and ready to put on the rest of your skincare products. The perfume might irritate those with very dry skin a little, but overall this is a good face wash if you're just looking for something simple on a budget.
Balea Pomegranate Shampoo
This shampoo was designed for those with dyed hair so we we're excited to try this one to see the results. I (Melina) was extremely surprised to find that this was the very first shampoo for dyed hair that made my hair very soft without taking away the volume. My hair has a beautiful shine but does not feel oily, which unfortunately had been the case with other brands I tried in the past. THANK YOU Balea for making a shampoo that fits my needs so perfectly!
Balea Sport & Refresh shower gel with mint extract
This shower gel has a nice minty scent to it, without making our skin itch. Using this in the morning, it makes you feel awake and ready for a new day. The scent feels very energizing and is even more fun to use after a workout or on a hot summer day. Though we love all Balea shower gels, this one was a very very pleasant surprise.
Belea Urea foot cream
I (Alissa) had very feet, especially when it was really warm during summer. Sometimes it was so bad that I noticed little cracks in my skin. I use this cream after taking a bath and put on some socks to make my skin absorb the cream even better. The results are amazing every time!
